We sailed two days east 65 miles stopping and blind river marina on our way to our new home in the town of Spanish Ontario. Spanish is a very very small and remote town with a name no one seams to know how it came about. The town has a beautiful marina in the heart of the north channel.
Bud Jones and I spent a day exploring the islands and gunk-holes (very small spaces between boulders where you can tie up or anchor) in the area. I took many photos but unfortunately my phone did not survive a later wash-down of the boat. I've added stock photos below and will return with actual photos when Susan and I head up in two weeks.
Spanish is also in the middle of a very productive fishing area being at the outlet of the Spanish river. I hope to assemble a fishing trip next spring using the local guides and fishing boats while using Panta Rhei as our home.
